Velocity Staff, Inc. is working with our client located in South Kansas City, MO to identify a Technical/Desktop Support Specialist to join their team for a 3+ month contract opportunity. The Support Specialist will be responsible for assisting our client in clearing up backlog of IT requests and incidents which need to be solved as well as troubleshooting and supporting hardware.
- Hardware troubleshooting and support including PCs/laptops, printers, fax, wireless devices, etc.
- Break-fix and desktop support.
- Supporting Windows Operating Systems (mostly Windows 7, and some Windows 10).
- Supporting MS Office products including MS Outlook.
- Password resets and unlocks in Active Directory.
- Software installation/upgrades.
- Working with remote access and support tools is preferred, but not required.
