Velocity Staff is working with our client, located in Leawood, Kansas to identify a Customer Service Representative with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains experience. This is a 2+ month, part-time position (10-20 hours per week.)



Provide customer service support by obtaining, analyzing, and verifying the accuracy of order information in a timely manner. Resolve customer complaints and concerns. Organize and file all paperwork properly.


  • Organize and file all paperwork including POs and sample requests
  • Answer phone calls and contact customers using a computer
  • Type letters and reports
  • Enter data into computer program/database
  • Talk to customers and resolve complaints, concerns, and orders
  • Provide customers with useful and relevant information regarding products and services
  • Verify that all information and products ordered match work/sample orders
  • Perform the correct steps to ensure proper paperwork and filing of all orders received
  • Ensure that all packages look presentable, secure and prepared to be shipped in a timely manner
  • Communicate acknowledgement of customer complaint promptly
  • Provide reliable tracking and a timely resolution of complaints
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Organizational skills required
  • Must be able to operate telephone, computer and photocopier
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, verbally and in writing
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains
  • High school or equivalent
