  • Overview

    Velocity Staff, Inc. is currently working with our client located in Overland Park, KS to identify a talented C#.Net Developer for a 6 month contract for hire opportunity.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    • Design of the overall architecture of web applications and internal API.
    • Implementation of a robust set of services and APIs to power our web applications.
    • Optimization of applications for maximum speed and scalability.
    • Implementation of security and data protection.
    • Integration of the front-end and back-end aspects of web applications.
    • Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
    • Translate UI/UX visual elements into functional applications.
    • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code and libraries.
    • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
    • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
    • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
    • 2+ years of Development experience.
    • Strong knowledge of C#, .NET MVC frameworks, .NET core, and web forms.
    • Strong knowledge writing and optimizing MySQL queries, stored procedures, database triggers, and indexes.
    • Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
    • Strong understanding of MVC design patterns and object-oriented programming.
    • Basic understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR), its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds.
    • Strong understanding of JavaScript and jQuery.
    • Experience with TypeScript.
    • Experience using cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
    • Experience creating flexible, high-performing database schemas.
    • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
    • User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
    • Knowledge of concurrency patterns in C#.
    • Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code and documentation.
    • Basic understanding of front-end technologies, HTML5, CSS3, and server-side CSS preprocessors.
    • Basic understanding of SEO best practices.
