  • Overview

    Velocity Staff, Inc. is working with our end client located in Overland Park, KS to identify a Technical Business Analyst/Project Manager to join their team.  The right candidate will have specific expertise working with Information Technology and Marketing teams and have successful experience working in an Agile environment.

     

    This is an excellent Business Analyst/Project Manager opportunity working as part of the PMO Group. This position will be working directly with Project Management, Program Management, Executive Team Members, Web Developers, Analysts and Marketing Business as the primary expert for push communications partnering closely with Marketing and external solutions.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Manage Project Plans
    • Ensure overall project management ensuring scope and timelines are met
    • Follow SDLC process for project execution (Agile)
    • Project Online Workbook (track and maintain budget)
    • Kanban board management
    • Issue tracking/resolution
    • Weekly Status Reporting
    • FRD development 
    • Support QA for issue resolution and conduct UAT

    Qualifications

    • 7+ years of experience working hands-on as a business analyst in a technical software development environment.  Strong preference for candidates with experience working with marketing and promotions development projects including web based initiatives.
    • Strong Analytical Skills with experience working directly with developers, testers and Project Management to create requirements, develop documentation and perform analysis.
    • Senior level experience with documentation tools such as Daptiv, MS Project and/or eProject, Word, Excel, as well as mock up tools and flow diagramming, such as Visio.
    • Ability to use SQL to query against databases preferred, but not required.
    • Understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle as well as the Change Management process.
    • Ability to identify trends, perform trend analysis, develop solutions and develop detailed trend analysis reports.
    • Excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to interact effectively with business stakeholders, executive team members, technical developers, data management team members, peers and more.
