  • Overview

    Velocity Staff, Inc. is working with our client in Oklahoma City to identify a strong IT Security Engineer for a 12 month project based opportunity.  The right candidate would possess expertise in Identity Governance, Enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO), Multifactor Authentication (MFA) and healthcare IT security experience.  Ideally, the right candidate will have worked specifically with Imprivata but someone with strong SSO (Okta, Ping Federate, Azure, etc. ) and MFA (SecureID, EMC RSA, etc.) with the desire and ability to learn quickly would be strong considered.  

     
    The right candidate would be open to working onsite at the client location with some flexibility for remote work from time to time.  He/She would work directly with our Identity Management engineers, SSO engineers, solution owners, and business clients to ensure that an end to end solution surrounding ESSO, MFA, Identity Governance, Positive Patient Identification, Secure Communication and Risk Management that meets our business needs while mitigating security risks within the organization.

    Responsibilities

     

    Accountabilities in this role 

    • Define Functional and technical requirements associated with Impravata engagements (Projects, Enhancements, and Run). 
    • Create and audit high level functional design 
    • Design and development of Identity Integrations as well as Access Control, Enterprise level SSO. 
    • Effectively communicate status, changes, and issues to the relevant parties and stakeholders. 
    • Knowledge of how to integrate an Identity Management solution with a Web Access Management solution to create an application security solution 
    • Provide support to Project Managers and team members to ensure projects meet agreed upon timelines and deliverables. 
    • Strong understanding of customer, employee, and contractor identity patterns 
    • Work directly with our Identity Management engineers, SSO engineers, solution owners, and business clients to ensure that an end to end solution surrounding ESSO, MFA, Identity Governance, Positive Patient Identification, Secure Communication and Risk Management that meets our business needs while mitigating security risks within the organization. 
    • Review detailed business requirements with project analysts and product managers to ensure they adhere to our Identity Management and Web Access Management strategy 
    • Supply project managers with detailed estimates for IDAM engagements 
    • Educate application teams on how to integrate with Identity & Access Management solutions 

    Additional Team Functions:

    • The team will be responsible for technical configuration, design, administration, development, implementation and support of application and information frameworks the healthcare organization utilizes. 
    • Demonstrates and applies technical (not functional) knowledge of software development frameworks and business process configuration systems. Examples include (not limited to) application servers, integration and information systems, ERP systems, business rules engines, business process management and .Net development frameworks. 
    • Leverages fluency in technical languages, operating systems, application programming interfaces, and troubleshooting. 
    • Demonstrates knowledge of software development life cycle, modeling of business processes, application design patterns, and business/functional documents. Estimates to high level business requirements and provide options analysis. 
    • Demonstrates basic knowledge of infrastructure subcomponents and interoperability including (but not limited to) SAN, network (application routing) and compute platforms. 
    • Demonstrates knowledge of system information dependencies and end to end application transaction competency. 
    • Maintains platform or system health and availability requirements including HADR testing. 
    • Resolves support issues involving production systems. 
    • Partners with Enterprise Architecture teams for product selection and product capability roadmaps and information governance processes. 
    • Monitors and manages proactive maintenance to application platform environments; documents and manages SOPs for software and information platform systems. 
    • Interfaces with business solution teams and partners on operational platform events as well as solution design needs.
