The right candidate will be responsible for implementing and evangelizing the vision and strategies necessary to create and mature the company's Data Management and Analytics capabilities. This individual will also be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the use of standards and procedures.
- The Data Architect must have a good working knowledge of different types of philosophies when it comes to architecture, design and development of data ecosystems to support reporting, data warehousing, advanced analytics and AI. The Data Architect must have a proven history (through successful and failed endeavors) with enterprise level database management, ETL packages, data services and best practices including architecture competency with relational models and presentation layers. Must be proficient in performance and security standards along with working knowledge of typical DB Administration duties. (Functions, procedures, and monitoring development tasks) Working knowledge of Data Quality/Cleansing and Master Data Management processes and procedures is preferred. The Data Architect serves as a senior leader to the software engineering team.

The Data Architect participates in requirements gathering, discovery, and interfacing with technical and business teams -- establishing credibility regarding experience, presentation, and leadership of solutions development. The Data Architect evaluates proposed new systems and system changes and additions, provides oversight into the decision process and participates in project implementation.
